Hey you :)I'm here to tell you about the most happening youth event of the year!
That's right, here it is ... *drum roll*
It was super cool Eddie Lim, the founder of Youth World (check out his CV below. WHOA...) came to each Form 5 class to give out special VIP invites. Some volunteers even came several times after that to make sure everyone who wanted to attend the seminar received a pass. Thank you, Youth World ! :DThe team at Youth World Development Sdn. Bhd. really live by their mission statement - To be THE place for youths - for education, work, growth and pleasure.
The event started off with a super high-energy cheerleading performace, that got the crowd on their feet, by Awesome All-Stars. I'm super proud to say that I'm an Awesome All-Star cheerleader myself :D
The welcome note by Eddie Lim was really hilarious ...
... and the opening ceremony by the VIPs sure got us hyped up for the seminar ahead.
Prof. Dato' Dr. Chin See Keat was the first speaker for the day.
According to him, "It's okay to be crazy ... in the correct way."

Ever since I laid eyes on the captivating photographs taken by Saiful Nang's, Saiful Nang had become my hero because not only do his photographs inspire me to strive to be a better aspiring photographer, his devotion to Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin also fuels the desire in me to give back to community, especially those in need. Saiful Nang did say that if one wishes to succeed, one must BELIEVE and not be dampened by obstacles. He speaks from experience, quote,
" I had to work my a** very, very hard! " Haha! :p

FUN FACT : Both Saiful Nang & Yeoh Chen Chow are Winners of the Asian Youth Ambassador Award. How cool is that ?? :D

Being his student at Perfection Training Academy, Dr. Christopher had thought me the right brain users, who have the tendency to be more artistic, should make a conscious effort to use their left brain more and vice versa. Oh, also, use your upper brain more than your lower brain. MUCH, MUCH more. Ever had those impulses to be gormless? Yup, that's caused by your lower brain.
He says that it's good to change your outfit 5 times a day because this exercises your right brain. Woohoo! Girlfriends, go ahead and change yo' clothes !
Guess who?? My competitive cheerleading coaches, Lim Chee Wei & Tan Yee Ming! :)
I love them to bits because through all the sweat, tears, bruises & cheers during practice, they had thought me the true meaning of teamwork, leadership & spirit.
With that, I was able to lead my school team, as one of the captains, from zero to hero, snatching 6 national titles last year.
Now, I am a cheerleader with Awesome All-Stars.

While enjoying our eco-friendly lunch, we were treated to a Taekwondo performance by TL Taekwondo Academy. I must say, they were very entertaining. They had me wanting to see more ! :DFUN FACT : TL Taekwondo Academy is trained by Eddie Lim

FUN FACT : They're all Olympians ! Wow !
K.M. Rajendran, Vice President of Taekwondo Malaysia, told me that passion is something that has to come from deep inside you.
FUN FACT : Khoo Cai Lin is a former Sri Amanian ! SRI AMAN, GO TEAM!
Wow...If these Olympians can do it, surely a Phoenix can spread her wings too, right? :) These amazing people are the reason I am so motivated now, feeling that I have so much more potential within myself to discover.
Towards the end of the seminar, Amber Chia, international celebrity model and Ben, the co-founder of the Amber Chia Academy shared their success story with us. They brought along some of their models from the Amber Chia Academy to put on a show for us.
The perfect ending to an a life changing day. Such a touching performance by the Choir of Rumah Prihatin...
I'm so thankful I got to share this amazing day with my bff, Hayani. Life is a life long journey of learning; and what is life without friends ?
I even got to meet new friends and catch up with long-lost ones :)
Youth World really is the ideal platform for youths to come together.
A million thanks to the organizers for making this super awesome event possible. I believe that Youth World is THE perfect place for youths everywhere to unleash the possibilities of their individual potentials.
I believe in me resides a giant potential. That is the feeling I had in me as I left the Future of Success Seminar. I felt transformed. I am named Phoenix, after all. Thank you, for giving me the confidence to spread my wings and soar.
